fitch's fourth birthday party...its all about lego

 the main entertainment was a muti-level, multi-room
fort fashioned out of three scooter boxes

fitch poking his head out of what was deemed
as 'the toilet' at the top of the fort

more fort fun

 there was an organized 'build a car and race event'... 

 ...sometimes building high preformance machines
requires help from older folks.

...and concentration

 displaying the cars for a 'show and shine'

 boys always have to get their hands in...

the distance challenge in full swing...

the car that coasts the furthest gets a prize...

wow...what a day 14 kids (including alaska)
one cardboard fort, and hundreds of legos...
we all slept well that night...
